Kingdom Impact in Lyons, New York

Revitalization begins with something as simple as a burden in someone’s heart.

For years, a church building sat quiet in Lyons, New York. Once filled with ministry and worship, the property had fallen into disrepair.  To many, it may have looked like another closed chapter.

But God was not finished writing the story.

A local pastor, sensing a calling toward the vacant church, pursued what others overlooked. Through prayer, persistence, and partnership with the Church of God, and Harvesters ministry, what once stood dormant became the beginning of a renewed work of ministry.

Today, that congregation—now known as God’s Way Christian Fellowship—is once again serving its community, worshiping together, and extending the love of Christ beyond its walls.

Seniors in local care facilities are being ministered to through worship services and Bible studies. A weekly free lunch program has provided practical care and hospitality to members of the community. A feeding program helps families facing hardship, with plans underway to broaden its food assistance.

This is the multiplying effect of revitalization.

When a local church is strengthened, the entire community feels the impact.

The hungry are fed.

The forgotten are encouraged.

The lonely are placed in family.

The Gospel is proclaimed.

Hope returns.

A restored church building is never just about the building. It’s about creating a base for ministry, discipleship, outreach, and transformation in the world we seek to reach. Every renovated ministry space, every renewed congregation, every outreach opportunity, and every life touched represents something larger than a project—it represents Kingdom impact.

This is exactly why ministries like Harvesters matter, and need your support; because support for Harvesters is support for the Kingdom beyond our local Church’s community. When you give to Harvesters, you are helping churches become centers of hope again.  You are helping make sure communities have places where people can encounter Christ, receive care, and belong to something greater than themselves.  When you support Harvesters, you are helping build the Kingdom of God in the earth!

Partner in giving to Harvesters today to make an eternal impact in the Kingdom!
